Environment Thumbnails

These are my first set of environment thumbnails, this is my first time ever painting in Photoshop and loving it! After today's lesson it really had inspired me to hone my skills in concept art. They are random environments focusing on trying to get used to different brushes and brush settings within Photoshop. overall I'm really happy with these and look forward to doing more!

  6. Hi Ant,
a great start with these thumbnails, you are already developing a sense of depth. Even at this scale the eye is being led nicely round these images.

  7. Great stuff Ant, already filling up that space and getting used to brush settings. Even though these are random environments things are starting to come alive in them. Remember to keep working on these. Try to sketch and thumbnail everyday, it will help your work develop so quickly. Also don't feel to held down by the thumbnail grid, feel free to sketch traditionally or create more abstract grids at this stage. Keep them coming :)
