@Phil Minor: Environment update
Here I have updated the street scene taking away the centre building as this was suppose to be a normal town but I like the characterful buildings.

Minor: Outside Environment Art Work
As I'm currently in the early stages of modelling the character I have decided to focus some time on the environment too. These are more for modelling and production art rather than concept as I don't want the bold line within my scenes. Whilst working on this Photoshop did crash so I cant change the red light unfortunately but I might change it a later date. I wanted the autumn feel to it with the leaves falling off and the warm autumn feel to it. Also I am thinking of having fences opposite the houses or keep them as town houses im a bit unsure about that at the moment.

Minor Project: Character Design - Style
I want to really hone in on a style and try and get better at drawing characters altogether. Whilst sketching I thought that this character was a little too young in the pencil sketches so I tried to age her a little in the painting. Whilst painting her she seemed to get happier and happier, maybe I was enjoying it too much aha. So unfortunately she wont be my character but this was useful to see what the proportions and style will include within the project.

Minor Project: House designs
This afternoon I have been focusing on designing the house I started out with a few concepts and then decided to paint in black and white to get the values correct and going back to basics to try and improve my painting. This is the idea I have come up with so far. I want a dark looking building with points and long curves. I haven't finished this yet as I really want to push it as far as I can but at the same time I don't want to get too involved in a design that isn't final yet.

Personal Work: King Frog
This year I want to use my time not only to do project work but to do more personal work too, obviously when the work load piles on I wont do as many but I want to try and keep it up to improve my painting and drawing. This is the first of many hopefully that I produce throughout the year, any comments are gladly welcome :)

character: Enemy 1 and environment
For my first enemy for my character project I designed a character that has sea environment on top to disguise himself and blends into the scenery but then underneath is where the monster lurks. Therefore when playing this game in the maze survival mode you would need to get the energy source to gain their power so when you revisit this place in the dungeon you can camouflage yourself as one of them and get through that part of the level with no difficulties.

Narrative: Hyena Character Concept
Here is my initial painting for the character that I have derived from my sketches in my sketchbook, I want to try and combine my toony style and the African cave painting style. For the animation we may use a line drawing for our character and be keeping the shader transparent but for now I wanted to paint the character as if it were textured. I want to get across the crazy personality and the viscous side of him.
These may need a few tweaks to get that right but these are my initial paintings :)

Fantastic Voyage: Concept Art Starting Scene
From the thumbnails I changed the composition so that the main fern is more in focus for the audience. I am still unsure whether to have a single fern for the animation to show that it is lonely to then reveal that it is in fact surrounded by lots of ferns, or to have the camera travel through lots of fern silhouettes to reveal the one fern we focus on for the animation.

Script to Screen: Theater Concept Art
I tried to keep this piece loose in comparison to the other paintings, trying to capture the overall feel of the theater whilst keeping the traditional look to it.
